Christmas and New Years are a time of wonder and celebration, and this year, one lucky individual in Scotland has had one sure fire reason to celebrate.
The second of four £5 notes engraved by the amazing Graham Short has been discovered in the Scottish Borders.
Discovered between Christmas Day and New Years Eve, in a Christmas card no less!
The recepient has asked to remain anonymous, and as with the first note, we are more than happy to oblige that.
BUT, that doesn’t mean there is no chance for YOU to discover a note, as two still remain in circulation!
Good luck to you all, and have a fantastic 2017!
Best wishes from all of us at the THH Gallery

I am writing to let you know I took a Jane austen five pound note as payment for an mot I took it home read the quote to my wife ..l hope I never ridicule the wise and the good . I did nt realise it’s value but thought it strange as it did nt have an unusual serial number I intended on researching it but it looks like I have spent it .I am now feeling tully gutted and find myself constantly looking for it in coat pockets draws and I keep searching the house in hope
